1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data processed on this website (dodolab.cl) is DodoLab.

For any question about privacy or your data, write to info@dodolab.cl.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data needed to respond to you:

• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
• AI assistant: the messages in the conversation, an automatically generated summary and, if you fill in the form inside the chat, the same contact details and your preferred time.
• Live chat: the messages you exchange with our team and, if you provide them, your name and email.
• Record data: the page you wrote from, the language and the date and time you gave your consent.
• Technical data: strictly necessary cookies and your IP address, used temporarily to protect the website against abuse.

We do not ask for or need sensitive data, such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, health or sex life. Please do not send it through the form or the chat.

Providing your data is voluntary. Without a way to contact you, such as your email, we cannot reply.

3. What we use your data for

We process your data with your free, informed and specific consent, which you give when you submit the form or the chat details, and only for these purposes:

• to answer your enquiry, understand your needs and, where appropriate, prepare a proposal;
• to send you confirmation that we received your message;
• to protect the website against spam, attacks and misuse;
• to send you news or content, only if you give specific consent for it. Every message includes a simple way to stop receiving them.

We do not sell your data, we do not pass it on to third parties for their own purposes and we do not use it for purposes different from or incompatible with those described here.

4. Artificial intelligence assistant

The website assistant answers automatically and can make mistakes. Its answers are for guidance only: prices, timelines and conditions are only valid in a formal proposal from our team.

To generate answers, the conversation messages are processed by a contracted artificial intelligence provider. We work with providers that do not use the data sent to train their models.

The assistant does not make decisions that have legal effects on you: any proposal or commercial decision is reviewed by a person on our team.

The conversation is only linked to your enquiry if you leave your details through the chat form.

5. Who we share your data with

We only share data with service providers that process it on our behalf, following our instructions, without being able to use it for other purposes and under a duty of confidentiality:

• website and database hosting providers;
• an artificial intelligence provider, for the assistant to work;
• an email delivery service, for confirmations and replies;
• a messaging service, which we use to alert our team when a new enquiry arrives and to answer live conversations on the website.

We may also disclose data when required by law or ordered by a competent authority.

6. International data transfers

Some of these providers process data on servers located outside Chile, for example in the United States.

These transfers are made with your consent, which you give when you submit the form or the chat details after being informed in this policy, and with providers that contractually commit to adequate confidentiality and security obligations.

7. How long we keep the data

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised.

If you become a client, the data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the periods required by law.

8. Your rights

As the data subject, you can at any time:

• find out whether we process your data and access it;
• ask for inaccurate or incomplete data to be rectified;
• ask for your data to be deleted when it is no longer needed or when you withdraw your consent;
• object to certain processing and ask for your data to be temporarily blocked;
• ask for the portability of your data, in the cases provided for in Law 21,719;
• withdraw your consent and ask us to stop sending you communications.

To exercise them, write to info@dodolab.cl stating what you are asking for and a way to verify your identity. It is free of charge and we reply within the time limits set by law.

If you consider that your request was not handled properly, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency, once it begins operating under Law 21,719, or with the courts.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your data, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, restricted access to the internal panel and limits against unauthorised access attempts.

10. Cookies and browser storage

This website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. We do not use advertising, tracking or audience analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the form and the assistant may stop working.

11. Minors

This website is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
